Marriage Normalization

"We should change the terminology similar to what supporters of legalizing marijuana did. Instead of talking about legalizing gay or same-sex marriage we should lay claim to the term “marriage normalization”… the proponents of Prop 8 and similar efforts think they have some big winning point when they say “the schools would have to teach that same sex marriage is normal and moral and acceptable”… Duh? Yeah? That’s the whole point, and it is normal and moral and legal in 5 states already. So, “marriage normalization” better reflects our efforts."
